After the sun goes down

Everything was fantastic. 10/10! Multiple guests talked about how fun the DJ was (Laz), the lighting was PERFECT for both the ceremony and the dance party, and the Photo Booth was a big hit.

We were affected big-time by the pandemic. Not only did Steve and his team work with us on finding a new date. But we didn’t lose any money whatsoever. Then when the new date finally came we had an amazing time, nobody left the dance floor the entire night. Not to mention the Photo Booth was pretty amazing. Hopefully we get a chance or opportunity to use them again, can’t speak highly enough of these guys.

Steve with Maryland’s DJ was absolutely incredible! He was flexible, easy-going, yet also very organized and was an amazing emcee for the night. He did a wonderful job for our ceremony, cocktail, and reception. Our guests had such a blast. The uplighting from Maryland’s DJ was also amazing in our space. We would highly recommend this company and particularly Steve to any wedding couple looking to have an unforgettable night with family and friends!

Oh my gosh, our DJ, Harvey, was a 10 on everything!!! And the photo booth turned out better than I expected. It was amazing working with Harvey, he was basically our wedding coordinator! Everyone complimented his dj skills and my husband and I loved his transitions and making sure that we're still on schedule or if anything needed to be changed around due to time. Working with Jordan from Maryland's DJ was easy, seamless, and fun! From our first phone consultation with him, we knew that he was the DJ for us. It felt like he understood our musical taste and the vibe of each element of our wedding day even better than we could explain. During our reception, Jordan was communicative and able to keep the night organized with a natural flow. Our guests never left the dance floor once the evening got going, and the photo booth was an absolute hit!

Jordan was an amazing DJ, totally accommodating to all of our weird and fun music requests and it was so nice to have someone familiar with our venue and knew exactly what needed to be done with lighting to make our plan B ceremony look beautiful despite the rain. I didn't have to worry about a thing, he was super thorough when running through the plan with us which even helped me get a good grasp of what to expect.

So blown away. Our guests were dancing THE ENTIRE NIGHT! Announcements were on point, they weren’t cheesy, music was awesome, and the photo booth was so unique. We got lighting as well at the last minute and it completely changed the look and feel of the room. 5 out of 5 would hire again. Thank you!

Jordan was the DJ for our wedding and did a phenomenal job. He's an awesome guy, and not only a great DJ but a great voice on the mic as well! His company's website made the entire process very easy. The LED lighting is 100% worth add on and his speaker/stand set up looked very nice in the room. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

We used Maryland’s DJ for our 150-person black tie optional wedding in Washington DC. Services included music (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception), photo booth, and uplights. Everything was flawless. Jordan was our DJ and he was an absolute pro. Music done well has the power to make life feel like a movie and create epic moments and memories. That’s what Jordan delivered for us. Cannot recommend him enough. The photo booth was a huge hit. Totally customizable and looked great.

Maryland's DJ was the perfect DJ company for our wedding. DJ Harvey was so easy to communicate with, he worked with all of our vendors to ensure we had the best experience possible, and he kept the party going all night long! The energy from the dance floor was one of the most talked about parts of our wedding day and it wouldn't have been possible without DJ Harvey's skills as well as the great sound system and uplighting. We would recommend to anyone hoping to have a fun wedding reception!

Harvey was amazing throughout our whole wedding process! He made us feel comfortable and helped keep us calm throughout the months leading up to the wedding and didn't even seem concerned when we hadn't finalized our songs the week before our wedding. The music throughout the entire day was amazing and we cannot recommend Harvey/Maryland's DJ enough! We also got the photobooth, which ran smoothly all night and had no issues. Guests loved the pictures!
