Maryland's DJ absolutely nailed our wedding, no other way to describe it. DJ Mebaa stepped in to DJ our ceremony and reception as a last minute change in plans; my wife and I felt supported and in good hands the whole time as a result of Maryland's DJ's planning and attention to detail. Mebaa, with only a few days notice, played all ceremony songs perfectly, timing choruses/special parts of songs perfectly with the arrival of the wedding party/the bride as they walked down the aisle. The reception was an all out blast - Mebaa read the room perfectly, following one banger with another and keeping jaws dropped the whole night with great songs. He also surprised my wife and I with a special last song dance to a song that we adored. I would highly recommend Maryland's DJ, and Mebaa specifically. They made our special day the best it possibly could be, and know how to please their clients, no matter what circumstances arise. Aside from my wife and I, we had almost everyone we interacted with on the dance floor comment on how good the DJ music and service was - we are so glad we went with DJ over live band!

Just want to start by saying thank you for how amazing the entire Marylandâs DJ has been. From our initial conversation to the wedding night, weâve felt comfortable knowing you guys had us covered. With the hundred other wedding things we were managing, not worrying about the DJ situation was a massive plus. So a kudos to you for your professionalism and the help you showed us when we were still shopping around and trying to get a sense of things. Most of the credit should go to Steve. What a legend. Iâm not sure he even knew where Moldova was on a map before our wedding day but theyâd give him a citizenship after the party he threw for us all. 10/10 service, will recommend Steve and you guys for any weddings our friends have. We werenât the most organized bunch, but he sat down with us and went through all the forms and song choices. We felt that we really aligned on our music preferences and he understood the wedding vibe we were going for. We also had a few traditions we needed to do and he helped us through it all! The party was so great we even made arrangements with him to stay later. Again thank you both from the bottom of our hearts for helping make our wedding night the happiest evening of our lives!

Jordan literally made our wedding a party! We had multiple meetings with him via Zoom because we needed help with song selections and he sat with us and helped us pick out the perfect ones! He also made our day run so smoothly⌠from pre ceremony all the way to the very last song. He had everyone on the dance floor and was able to find the groove to cater to all ages. I have told all of my friends about him and his company. I would absolutely hire him again in a heartbeat. He is very responsive, so fun, amazing energy and truly loves what he does. He totally crushed it!

Jordan and his team are truly amazing! We found Maryland's DJ through a wedding convention in DC, but also was referred to them through a co-worker of mine that used Maryland's DJ as their wedding DJ. Coming from a couple that is super into music, we knew it was a great recommendation! Jordan was one of the best wedding decisions that we made. When we first met him, we met in his offices where he took us through a whole experience of what our wedding music would sound like, both cocktail and reception. It was truly one of the coolest things that we got to experience during the wedding planning process and made us so excited to get a glimpse of what the big day would be like. Jordan also took us through his portal where you can submit requests and your timeline, etc. On the actual day, Jordan was totally stellar. I saw him right before we left for the ceremony and he put me at ease just by talking - he has a super calming demeanor. He truly is the best wedding DJ we could have ever asked for. So many of our guests came up to us during the wedding and afterwards saying how much they enjoyed the music and how perfect it was! Even my 76-year-old Dad can't stop commenting on how amazing our DJ was and that right there is a true phenomenon! Jordan can seriously read a room and that is a true gift. He also was our emcee and was amazing at directing people to what they should be paying attention to at any given moment. Not to mention he also referred us to who we used as our travel agency for our honeymoon - he was a true blessing! Thank you, Jordan, for making our day seriously amazing!! Marylandâs DJ was phenomenal! Taylor was super helpful and responsive during the early stages of planning. DJ Scott was FANTASTIC. Another DJ was supposed to cover our event, but something came up and Jordan (owner) called to apologize and ensure that DJ Scott was the best candidate to entertain our guests. We had 125 guests and the dance floor was packed ALL night. I could not recommend DJ Scott more!

Marylandâs DJ was INCREDIBLE. Before our event, there was really good communication from everyone on the team, including the automated reminder emails, personal emails, and our original intake. We really liked that we had so many options of DJs to choose from, too. We also really liked the portal and how we could sort through/choose songs in there. Neil, who actually worked our event, was the absolute best. He met with us several times to make sure things were just right. He matched our vibe and kept people on the dance floor throughout the night. The transitions between songs were awesome. He was a guiding presence to the guests and kept the spotlight on us. My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Maryland's DJ. We worked closely with Steve Hartka throughout the entire process and we both have nothing but nice things to say about him and the company as a whole. Unfortunately I'm going to be extremely biased in my review, as Steve is a personal friend of mine in the Baltimore DJ scene. He did an absolutely amazing job, especially considering I didn't even touch the portal or log in once (sorry!) but provided him with a run of show and song selection a few days before. He was super easygoing the day of, especially considering I'm a DJ myself and had a lot of in-the-moment requests/updates to the run of show- he did great and went with the flow! I had my brothers singing our first dance song live, and plugging them in with mics and 1/4 inch jacks for their instruments was no sweat for Steve! He went off-list when it mattered to keep the dance floor alive, and I don't think there was a moment when it died at ALL (and again, as a DJ myself that's the most important part!) Everyone has told me it was the most fun reception they've ever been to- and I know that's because of the music- so A+ for Steve, give him a raise, a promotion- everything! :)

We cannot say enough great things about DJ Steve! From the moment we connected, he was incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with. He truly listened to our vision for the wedding and brought it to life with his amazing DJ skills. Steve perfectly set the tone for every part of the evening. During the cocktail hour, he played timeless classics by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, creating an elegant and classic vibe. As dinner began, he transitioned seamlessly into some lively swing music, which added so much energy to the room. When it was time to party, Steve wen through the decades, playing all the hits from the â80s, â90s, and 2000s. We sang and danced our hearts out to all of our favorites. He read the crowd perfectly, and the dance floor was packed all night long! Our guests couldnât stop raving about how much fun they had and how sore they were from all the dancing, and we owe so much of that to Steveâs ability to keep the energy going all night. People only really took breaks to grab another drink. Thank you Steve for being such a pleasure to work with and for making our special day so incredible!!

Incredible DJâing from Start to Finish
Marylands DJ, and DJ Brian brought the energy for our wedding we were so happy to have them and have plenty of great mixes with all of the music that we picked. From the beginning Marylands DJ were professional and extremely helpful in our process. We were shown a great and informative presentation about their offerings, and Jordan walked us through the entire contract from beginning to end to make sure we had no issues! They had plenty of follow up emails and even incorporated some Polish music, as my wife is Polish-American, and made sure the crowd was always partying! Couldnât be happier with Marylands DJ, and DJ Brian!! Thank you again!!

Brian crushed it 10/10. Based upon the songs we listed, he did a great job curating music for the evening that got people on the dance floor. He was great and one of the team members got an awesome video that was emailed to us after the wedding, which was so kind and I'm so glad we have that memory to relive!! Definitely recommend.

Great DJ - Awesome Set Up
Jordan was the DJ for our wedding and did a phenomenal job. He's an awesome guy, and not only a great DJ but a great voice on the mic as well! His company's website made the entire process very easy. The LED lighting is 100% worth add on and his speaker/stand set up looked very nice in the room. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Definitely check out some of his videos. *He is so professional, very experienced, and friendly. *He was a calming and reassuring presence for us during the reception. Yeah! Mike q is the g.o.a.t.
We had an amazing experience with our DJ Mike Q. Before we even chose to hire Maryland's DJ, he invited us out to see him perform which we HIGHLY recommend to any couple looking for a DJ. We got to see his style and read the energy in the room. Our wedding reception could not have gone any smoother. He checked in with us before and after big moments and made sure we were comfortable at all times (including being down to cut some dances short if needed). We really appreciated this because being in front of hundreds of people can be a LOT. His MC skills are top tier and the dance floor was PACKED ALL NIGHT LONG! He played all of our special requests and built off the list we gave him perfectly, even taking requests from our guests. He started amping up the energy during dinner so by the time the dance floor opened everyone was ready to party. We are still getting complements from guests about the music and atmosphere of the reception, thanks to our awesome DJ. THANK YOU SO MUCH MIKE Q!!!

If you do not pick Maryland's DJ to host your wedding you are doing it completely wrong. We had Steve as our DJ and from start to finish he was very easy to work with and was very excited to help us plan all of our details. Steve was professional and had the dance floor ROCKING all night long. Steve played almost all of the songs we had requested and even added his own songs to match the crowds vibes. He is your man!!! We will always remember how exciting it was to see all of our family and friends out on the dance floor with us all night long.

Jordan was the best DJ we could've hoped for at our wedding! He was super responsive in the planning stages ahead of the big day, and was quick to accommodate all of our crazy last minute changes. One of the most important things for us was that it was not "his show." He played great music during our cocktail hour, during dinner, and slayed it with the dance floor music, and he was also a great MC throughout the evening who highlighted the speakers without being too distracting. This review is for Steve with Marylandâs DJ. Steve was our wedding DJ for an event at the Chesapeake Bay and has our highest recommendation due to his profound professionalism. Steve was extremely personable and communicative throughout the entire process and provided his skills to accommodate special requests for song edits and musical queues during ceremony events. He was exceedingly knowledgeable on all aspects of audio engineering, noise considerations and acoustics for outdoor events, and venue-specific accommodations as he had frequented our selected location. The music selection system was an easy to use, web based application that streamlined the song selection process and provided valuable insight into music considerations, meeting time constraints, and accounting for key wedding objectives. We highly recommend Marylandâs DJ for other wedding events to any interested parties.

Brian was the best DJ!! We loved all the song choices and remixes and the transitions were amazing too! Everyone at the wedding was raving about how good the DJ was and we couldnât have imagined a better dance floor. We picked some songs but then also told Brian to just keep people on the dance floor and he definitely delivered. Even the parents and aunts and uncles were dancing most of the night! Easy to Work with and Delivered the Party
We loved working with Maryland's DJ and DJ Theo! The team made everything easy - we had a walk through to talk about our goals for our reception and were matched with a DJ that they thought could make it happen. And DJ Theo certainly could - he was amazing! We also loved the planning tool they gave us to use for timeline creation, choosing songs, and more. The party was fantastic and we loved how smoothly everything went from micing up the ceremony to creating an awesome atmosphere for our guests during dinner, speeches and of course, the dancing! We were so thrilled the whole night and our only complaint is that it went way too fast. Ryan Carr with Maryland's DJ was awesome, he was great to work with through the process of planning our wedding, explained everything thoroughly and was super helpful. He and his partner for our event set the mood for our whole day and we can't recommend them highly enough, everyone loved the energy and the music. We hired Maryland's DJ for our wedding reception (the official gathering after a 2020 courthouse ceremony) and I was blown away by how helpful they were throughout the entire process. I'm not really a music person and had no idea what songs to suggest but our guests (and embarrassingly myself) were singing and dancing all night. I was kind of sad going in to the re-do wedding reception as it didn't really feel like the real thing, and I was afraid that our friends and family would feel the same way too, but Maryland's DJ helped to give our reception the authentic first-time feeling and I am so happy with the way everything came together. 10/10!!

We honestly could not imagine our wedding dance floor being any better. People were (not even kidding) begging the DJ to keep playing songs as the venue told us we had to go! The music and the energy was that good!! Can't recommend Steve enough and he'll keep everyone, from your college friends to your grandma to your cousin's toddler, on their feet and having a great time.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Brian and Maryland's DJ! They have several DJ's in their company which I appreciated, the first meeting was seeing what kind of music we wanted played and what the vibes of the day we were looking for. We spoke with Andrew and he helped us figure out who would be the best match for us and he nailed it with us having DJ Brian! Everyone at the wedding said they had so much fun and everyone was dancing the night away. I think he did a great job of taking requests and playing what we wanted. They have a whole form and website to help layout the day and potential music suggestions which was incredibly helpful!! I do not have one single negative comment about them. I am so thankful that he was able to keep everyone dancing and giving the range of music everyone wanted and could relate to. Definitely recommend them if you are looking for a DJ!!

The photo booth they offered was completely worth it! These were the first photos we got back and we love looking at them! At the end of the night my wedding guests were chanting for an encore. The way he has his program set up makes it so easy to customize and to keep track of everything thatâs going by having everything detailed down to the smallest thing. Maryland's DJ was the perfect DJ company for our wedding. After going to multiple weddings with boring, unorganized DJs who played awkward and cringeworthy music, my husband and I knew we wanted better for our wedding. He isnât corny or cheesy, but he will make sure everyone gets up dancing! We loved how thoughtful Jordan was through the entire event. He arrived early to the venue and even offered to help my dad and brother set up our chuppah. He checked in with us about 30 minutes before the end of the night to see if there were any last minute songs we still wanted to hear. And, when I put two musical songs on our cocktail hour/dinner playlist, he included some âHamiltonâ and âDear Evan Hansonâ which made the night even more special and personalized. We can never thank Jordan enough for helping make our wedding perfect. If you want the best music and dancing at your wedding, Jordan is the perfect DJ for your event.

Ryan Carr with Maryland's DJ was awesome, he was great to work with through the process of planning our wedding, explained everything thoroughly and was super helpful. He and his partner for our event set the mood for our whole day and we can't recommend them highly enough, everyone loved the energy and the music. Their planning features were so awesome, they allowed us to organize songs by must play, do not play, etc. which really helped us put our personality into our wedding.

Awesome DJ experience from beginning to end
When considering all the different vendors for our wedding, we knew to have a great DJ was important to us. We inquired with quite a few but when we met Jordan, the decision was easy. The entire process was smooth and made us less stressed for our big day. We loved the demo provided before we signed the contract as well as the online portal that made it easy to provide our preferences. Jordan provided great input to help us decide which songs we wanted and when. He helped us figure out the entire flow of the wedding. We also got our lighting from Jordan and it looked great and we were able to see the color and options ahead of time. And of course, probably most important, the day of the wedding everything was amazing. All of the guests were out on the dance floor and had a fantastic time. Steve was extremely personable and communicative throughout the entire process and provided his skills to accommodate special requests for song edits and musical queues during ceremony events. He was exceedingly knowledgeable on all aspects of audio engineering, noise considerations and acoustics for outdoor events, and venue-specific accommodations as he had frequented our selected location. The music selection system was an easy to use, web based application that streamlined the song selection process and provided valuable insight into music considerations, meeting time constraints, and accounting for key wedding objectives. Our DJ was Neil and we couldn't have had a greater time with him. Somehow he was able to balance my love for 80s music with my wife's modern pop. Needles to say, the music for the night was amazing. Neil was also a consummate professional when it came to coordinating all of the music and announcements according to our wedding timeline. In addition, the photobooth and uplighting raised the experience to a whole other level. Overall, we had an awesome time working with Maryland's DJ and Neil specifically and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Unreal dance party with Steve!
Working with Steve was an absolute dream. When we started out planning, we knew that the music would be the most important factor of our wedding for us, and Steve exceeded our expectations with the most incredible DJ set for our wedding reception. He listened to what we wanted, worked with our requests and elevated the music to the point where people are still talking about the playlist and asking us to send it to them. I would recommend Steve to ANYONE but especially for those couples who are particular about their music! We'll be recommending him to friends for all future weddings not just because he's fantastic, but because we selfishly want to participate in another Steve dance party!

If you want a packed dance floor, book Jordan!! Matt and I are what I guess you can call a "COVID couple" who ended up changing our wedding date three times and our venue. Jordan met us back in December of 2019 and stuck with us through it all! He is fun, responsive, reliable and so easy to work with. Our goal when selecting vendors was to make sure we felt 100% comfortable with them so that we could be ourselves - as soon as we met Jordan, we knew that would be the case. Marylandâs DJ was the absolute best! They were extremely responsive, personable, and easy to work with. Taylor was extremely on top of things and very responsive. Brian our DJ truly listened and made our party flow and really banged out some tunes! Exactly what we had wanted! He kept our reception moving after getting behind due to a transportation issue which delayed the wedding. He was able to readjust and make sure the essentials happened, and happened well! It was the best dance party! Our only regret was that we didnât get to experience it longer due to the timeline delay! Maryland's DJ was fantastic from start to finish. They were extremely fast in responding to my request, beat everyone by at least 30 minutes! Their presentation of who they are and what they do well, and what separates them from other DJ's was clean and crisp. Steve was a fantastic DJ. We used him for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We got tons of compliments about the music he was playing and how he was able to keep everyone on the dance floor. They really care about the people they work with and spent a lot of time just getting to know my wife and I, which made us feel even more comfortable to work with them. The attention to detail, music selection, timelines, light selection, fun attitude, and support were above and beyond. My wife and I work full time jobs and Jordan helped keep us on track with his easy to understand platforms and his kind demeanor walking us through every step of the way. Our photographer referred us to Jordan and we couldnât be happier that she did! He was extremely helpful and always there when we had any questions, especially with having to change our date due to COVID. The lighting was absolutely amazing and the photo booth was a complete hit. I donât think there was a single moment the dance floor was empty once dinner was over, besides the cake cutting. Jordan covered a lot of genres of music so there was a little bit of everything for everyone in attendance. The night flowed seamlessly and we knew we were in good hands throughout!

Jordan was an AMAZING dj at our wedding, which we knew he would be because he was a fantastic dj at my brother's wedding too! He kept everything running smoothly and played the greatest music of all time! Without my knowledge, several of my friends even offered to pay him to stay longer! Unfortunately the venue was closing - sometimes I regret we didn't start the wedding earlier so we could get more dancing in! Jordan was the best DJ we could've hoped for at our wedding! He was super responsive in the planning stages ahead of the big day, and was quick to accommodate all of our crazy last minute changes. One of the most important things for us was that it was not "his show." He played great music during our cocktail hour, during dinner, and slayed it with the dance floor music, and he was also a great MC throughout the evening who highlighted the speakers without being too distracting. There are so many details that need the brides attention but he knew exactly what to do and totally understood what we were going for. We scheduled our wedding date around Jordan's availability, because our wedding day wouldn't be the same without the #1 DJ. Jordan will not only play the tunes for your day, but he will become your friend, step in on day of duties, make sure everything runs smoothly and organized, sweep any wedding day stress away, keep your drinks full, and of course the dance floor packed. As our wedding night was coming to a close and the bus was ready to take the first trip back to the hotel, but our guests literally refused because the dance floor was too much fun!!! I wish I had counted the number of guests who came up to us stating it was the "best wedding they had ever attended". The entire Marylands DJ team was kind and professional, and their whole process was very streamlined and detail-oriented! Their forms and online platform made it easy to plan music selections and figure out timelines. We had a micro wedding of about 40 guests, and our DJ Mike was awesome... he was able to identify our tastes in music and catered playlists to them. He was able to find this awesome balance of keeping the party going but not going "overboard" since it was a smaller wedding. I would highly recommend Marylands DJ!!!

Brian was great, and he made our slightly eclectic mix of swing/big band songs and millennial nostalgia dance hits really work! That moment after the first dance when he encouraged everyone to head to the dancefloor was incredible and exactly what I wanted out of the evening. We had an absolutely fantastic time working with Maryland DJ! We got married this past weekend and had about 140 guests in attendance. We worked with DJ Neil, and he was an absolute professional throughout the day. Our ceremony went on without a hitch, even with our family friend playing the keyboard at our outside ceremony space with support from Neil. He executed any announcements that we had flawlessly and made sure all of our guests knew exactly what was going on throughout the evening. When it came to the dance floor, Neil knew exactly how to keep the party going. I am very particular about the music played on the dance floor, and Neil took my playlist and really made it into his own. I felt that all the songs that I wanted to hear were played, and Neil masterfully read the room and played songs that he knew would elevate it to the next level. The dance floor was completely full the entire time, it was truly a wonderful experience. I would enthusiastically recommend Maryland DJ for your event, they really came through for us!
